The children
had a great hands-on afternoon planting red tulips
today outside of the front of the church.
They learned many new words in Armenian that had to
do with planting. They were excited that in the spring
the tulips would come up and be "beautiful"
for all the days of their lives at church. They felt
so empowered that they were a part of making their
church beautiful. What a wonderful lasting memory
when they grow up to say... "I created that beautiful
garden when I was young". Hearing and seeing
children so happy makes it all so worth while. |
